Drivable RVs

RVs are classified as drivable and towable campers.

Drivable RVs or motorhomes are self-propelled vehicles featuring a sturdy frame, a drive train, robust wheels, and sufficient space for you and your family. These are categorized further:

Class A Motorhomes

These are the largest and most luxurious RVs on the highways and are perfect for large families and traveling groups. They come outfitted with well-appointed bedrooms and living areas, multiple slides, full-size kitchens, and bathrooms with stand-up showers. Many luxury models also feature a fireplace and extra storage space. If you want to travel in style, get a Class A motorhome.

Class C Motorhomes

Class C motorhomes are smaller than Class A models but bigger than Class B rigs. They are built using a van cutaway chassis and feature a sleeping or storage area over the driver’s cab. They are comfortable to travel with and easy to drive for novice drivers. Most Class C motorhomes come outfitted with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and spacious living area for you and your family to relax.

Class B Motorhomes

If you are searching for a compact motorhome, get a Class B camper van. These RVs are perfect for couples and solo travelers who want to travel in style. Class B models feature a small kitchenette, a bed, and a bathroom, and they are more affordable than Class C vehicles.

Towable RVs

The other type of recreational vehicle, towable RVs, needs a towing vehicle to haul them from one location to another. These can accommodate from 2 to 8 people, and some can carry even ten people.

Travel Trailer

Travel trailers feature a bumper pull hitch that requires them to hook up to a pickup truck, SUV, or sedan. These can be compact, lightweight designs or large, luxurious models with multiple slides. Depending on the brand and the model you choose, you can rest easy knowing your camper will keep you safe and comfortable during transit.

Fifth Wheel

Fifth wheels are larger and more luxurious than travel trailers. They feature a gooseneck-style hitch. This unique attachment requires these campers to hook up to the bed of a pickup truck. Fifth wheels are more stable than travel trailers and are usually more spacious and comfortable.
